Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The website play-equipamentos.pt and the kit Simulator at simulador.play-equipamentos.pt are operated by Timóteo & Vinagreiro, Lda. (VAT PT515638730), owner of the brand “Play — Equipamentos Desportivos”, with registered office at Rua das Andorinhas, 4, Centro Empresarial dos Fornos, Armazém B3, 2860-122 Alhos Vedros, Portugal.

This policy covers both domains. For any question about your data, write to geral@play-equipamentos.pt.

2. What data we collect

Forms (quote request, contact, DTF, affiliates, newsletter): name, club/organisation, email, phone, message and any files you attach (e.g. crests and logos).

Fan Store: name, contact details and delivery data for your order. The store currently works on a request basis confirmed by contact — there is no online payment on the site and we collect no payment data.

Simulator: account data (email and an encrypted password), saved designs, files you upload and, if you use the team feature, lists with player name, number and size.

Technical and browsing data — only with your consent (see section 9, Cookies).

3. Purposes and legal basis

Replying to quote and contact requests and preparing proposals (pre-contractual steps).

Processing and delivering Fan Store orders and managing your Simulator account and locker (performance of a contract).

Sending the newsletter, if you subscribe (consent, revocable at any time).

Measuring and improving the site (consent, given via the cookie banner).

Meeting legal obligations, such as invoicing and tax archiving (legal obligation).

4. Processors and data sharing

We only use processors needed to provide the service: Vercel (site hosting), Neon (database, Frankfurt, EU), Cloudflare (file storage), Hostinger (email) and Google (Google Analytics 4, only with your consent). Requests and orders are managed in the site’s own back office by the Play team.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. International transfers

Some providers (Vercel, Cloudflare, Google) may process data in the United States. In those cases, transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Retention periods

Quote requests and contacts that do not become an order: up to 24 months. Customer data and invoicing documents: 10 years (tax obligation). Simulator account and locker: while the account is active. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Technical logs: up to 12 months.

You can request earlier deletion at any time (see section 8).

7. Player data provided by clubs

Team lists (name, number, size) — including of minors, in youth sport — are provided by the club or organisation, which declares it is entitled to share them with us. We use this data solely to prepare proposals and produce the kit, under the periods and rights in this policy.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email geral@play-equipamentos.pt — we reply within one month at most.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Portuguese CNPD (cnpd.pt).

9. Cookies

Essential (always on): your consent preference (kept for 12 months) and session/cart cookies.

Analytics (only after you accept in the banner): Google Analytics 4 — _ga and _ga_* cookies (up to 13 months), for aggregate usage statistics.

We do not use marketing cookies. If that changes (e.g. Meta Pixel), the banner and this policy will be updated first. You can change your choice at any time in the site’s cookie preferences.
